Titanium - Items tagged as "Titanium"
Titanium is as strong as steel, but less dense, so for a knife blade, it requires alloys, just like steel. As a handle, it offers a lighter weight option to G10.
It’s not magnetic, doesn’t conduct electricity well, and withstands extreme temperatures better than steel. It is tough and has excellent corrosion resistance, but it can be difficult to make a blade edge. It is used mainly for liner lock knives and other folders.
All our Titanium is the 6AL4V grade that is favoured by knifemakers. We have six thicknesses including .050", .063", .071", .080", .125" and .160".
We sell 12"x12" sheets and other sizes upon request. Just ask us!
