Product Description

Raffir Wasp Blue Uranium is a special effect (SFX) color option. It is now also available in the Raffir Noble product line.

It has similar physical properties to the other Noble mesh products. Meanwhile, it differs dramatically in its luminous color effect.

Elegant Glow

At first it has a blue to black colour in normal daylight. The glow effect reveals itself in darkness, where it lights up the metal inside it in beautiful patterns.

The glow effect can either increase the visibility of a product or simply work as a visual effect. Raffir Uranium glows because of very fine light-charged color pigments.

Therefore, the material glows stronger and longer the more light it receives. The pigments are of course, non-toxic, non-radioactive despite their strong glow effect.

Processing

You can easily craft or CNC-mill Raffir Noble. You can even use the same tools as you would for wood or bone.

Furthermore, it obtains a beautiful high-gloss finish after polishing.

We also recommend water grinding for easy and dust-free processing.

Finish sanding at grit 400 or higher before polishing. Then polish directly on a medium-hard cotton wheel with a polish wax for hard plastics. Alternatively, tumble it to the desired gloss level.

Comes in blocks 1" x 1.65" x 4.75"
